Farmers use a white-labeled portal/app branded by their retailer or cooperative: view and pay invoices and account balances, order inputs, apply for or view financing ('Point-of-Action Financing' with CHS Capital, Agri-Access/Compeer, AgQuest, CFA, TruChoice by Corteva, Growers Edge, John Deere Financial, ProPartners, WinField Secure), and in the grain module check the retailer's commodity bids, submit offers and eSign contracts. Accounting is 'partial' (invoice/statement/payment visibility only). Agronomy is 'partial' (integrations with agronomy planning tools; retailer agronomy team tools). AI: 'Goose' co-pilot (beta, 2024) is for retailer staff, not growers. Elevator integration covers the grower's own retailer/co-op grain desk via integrations with ag ERPs and grain offer systems. Weather not described on fetched pages.

What the AI doesNone — AgVend's 'Goose' AI co-pilot is for retailer staff, not the grower.
Crops and regionsNorth America; >100 ag retailers (vendor homepage, 2026); AgVend claimed its network represented ~20% of North American ag input retail after MFA Inc. joined (July 2023). Crop-agnostic.

Your data

Who owns it, who sees itAgVend's privacy policy (last updated May 27, 2026) says AgVend does not 'sell' personal information under the CCPA, discloses personal data to service providers and advertising/analytics partners (cookie-based 'sharing' with opt-out), and excludes data it processes as a service provider on behalf of retailer customers, so grower account data ownership is governed by the retailer's agreements.
Can you leave with it?? Data export and deletion terms not yet researched; scheduled for the next review.

The first line is our paraphrase of the vendor's policy; the linked document in Sources is what governs.

HeadquartersAustin, Texas (US) — Austin, Texas, USA (201 W 5th St, 16th Floor; founded in Minneapolis/San Francisco)
Built and supportedUS-built; serves North American ag retailers and their grower customers; support delivered through the retailer and AgVend.
Founded2017
Funding and acquisitionsFounded Aug 2017 (site launched Jan 2018) by Alexander Reichert and Eli Rosenberg as an online ag-input marketplace; $1.75M seed led by 8VC (April 2018) with Green Bay Ventures, Precursor Ventures, FJ Labs and others; pivoted to retailer-branded 'digital enablement' software; growth equity investment from Tidemark (March 2025, amount undisclosed). Later/other rounds not verified.
StatusActive. Not a product a farmer buys directly: the farmer gets it only if their retailer or cooperative is an AgVend partner, and the app carries the retailer's brand (e.g. a co-op's own app). Original 2018 consumer-facing price-comparison marketplace model no longer appears on the vendor site.
